AMOO was founded as a joint effort by Tabitha Kyambadde and other concerned individuals from East Africa for the purpose of empowering the youth, orphans and women with the knowledge and skills that will enable them to thrive in the midst of disease, poverty and the prevailing HIV/ AIDS epidemic. It is not just an information dispensing organ, but an organization that is dedicated to rescuing, protecting, guiding and nurturing hope. Amoo will work to replenishing and instill confidence among the youths so that they become valuable pillars of their communities. Our goal is to relieve human suffering and bring about reconciliation where there has been conflict. Our inspiration and motivation comes from Jesus, who taught us to care for the poor, the forgotten, the despised and the marginalized. However, our strength will always lie in equally supportive and committed individuals and organizations within and outside of Africa who share in our mission and objectives.
